With it's beginning in 1971 Green Side Up began a journey which has lasted 30+ years. Larry Ellis, the band's current fiddle player, has been a part of it (and it's driving force) ever since. Several notable musicians from the Kansas City area have played in Green Side Up including Don Hoglen, Howard Rash, Rick George, Keith George, Lonnie Hoppers and Jerry Justus to name a few.
